The Controller Board Initialization (CBI) Window allows you to set up new Controller Board hardware for the radio. This CBI window launches automatically from the CPS when you attempt to read from a radio that has just had its Controller Board replaced.

Only one attempt is given to correctly enter the radio's serial number! If the serial number is incorrectly entered, the controller board may become permanently dysfunctional. Only Motorola formatted serial numbers are accepted. |
